The company has since issued 3.5 million common shares to buy more Bitcoin, signaling its commitment to increasing its holdings. Semler has also unveiled a $500 million at-the-money offering program, raising around $136 million in funds.
Semler Scientific is not alone in its strategy. Other companies, including Strategy, have adopted similar approaches by buying Bitcoin as a way to get shareholders better value for money.
