Scholastic is set to publish Dav Pilkey's Captain Underpants series in a new manga format, titled Captain Underpants: The First Epic Manga, on April 7, 2026. The series, originally launched by Scholastic nearly 30 years ago, has sold over 90 million copies worldwide and was adapted into a film and Netflix series.
