On July 27, 2025, a Sauk County Sheriff's Deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 14 in Spring Green Township and arrested Alan M. Johnson, 52, of Viroqua, WI, for Operating while intoxicated - 6th Offense. Charges also include Operating while revoked, possession of THC and paraphernalia, and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. The case has been referred to the Sauk County District Attorney's Office.
