Saudi Arabia Launches AI Chatbot Reflecting Islamic Values and Arabic Heritage

Saudi Arabia’s Humain has launched an AI-powered chat application specifically tailored for Arab and Muslim users, emphasizing Islamic values and cultural heritage. The platform, known as Humain Chat, is built on the company’s proprietary large language model, Allam, which is designed to reflect the linguistic and cultural nuances of the region. Introduced in late August 2025, the application marks a significant step in the development of Arabic-first AI systems and is a key initiative under Saudi Arabia’s broader push to become a regional leader in artificial intelligence [1][2][3][4].

The Allam 34B model, which powers the chat platform, is trained on over eight petabytes of data—making it the largest Arabic dataset known so far—and has been fine-tuned by more than 600 domain experts and 250 evaluators from various sectors. The chat application is currently available in Saudi Arabia and offers bilingual support in Arabic and English, while recognizing multiple Arabic dialects such as Egyptian and Lebanese. Humain has also formed strategic partnerships with several global tech firms to support the expansion of its AI ecosystem. The company collaborates with Amazon Web Services, which has committed to investing over $5 billion to develop Humain’s AI Zone in Saudi Arabia. In addition, Humain is partnering with Nvidia to establish AI “factories” capable of supporting hundreds of thousands of GPUs, and with Qualcomm to build AI platforms that function across edge and cloud environments. These partnerships, alongside collaborations with AMD and Cisco, aim to create a secure and scalable AI infrastructure [1][3].

Looking ahead, Humain has ambitious plans to expand its data center capacity, including the construction of new facilities in Riyadh and Dammam by early 2026.
