A custom solution has been developed to integrate CDQ reference data in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) classic mode, enabling real-time Business Partner lookup from CDQ inside the Change Request UI. This allows for streamlined data entry, improved data accuracy, and more efficient onboarding in SAP S/4HANA 2023 (on-premise, classic mode) or earlier versions. The solution uses REST APIs and Custom List UIBB to simulate DPI behavior, addressing the limitation of no CDQ DPI in classic mode.
