SAP has recently revamped its Road Map Viewer home page, introducing three new tiles that provide an in-depth explanation of the SAP Activate Methodology. These tiles—'Overview', 'Structure', and 'Personalization'—are designed to help users understand and navigate the methodology more effectively.
The 'Overview' tile offers a summary of what SAP Activate is and details the six phases it is divided into. These phases include Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run. The 'Structure' tile extends the overview, explaining how the roadmap is organized. It outlines the project stages, deliverables, tasks, and accelerators, providing a clear guide on what to follow at each step. Additionally, it categorizes the roadmap using workstreams and tags, making it easier for users to navigate through the available topics.
The 'Personalization' tile allows users to customize their navigation experience. It offers a choice between video and PDF formats to explain the roadmap organization and how to personalize it according to the user's role or project needs. This tile also provides a way for users to give feedback, which SAP appreciates as it helps improve the user experience.
Furthermore, SAP has introduced Joule, an AI assistant that facilitates navigation through the SAP Activate roadmaps for SAP Cloud ERP Private - New Implementation and the SAP Activate for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition (3-system landscape). Joule helps users by providing guidance and support, making the implementation journey smoother.
These enhancements reflect SAP's commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring that organizations can effectively achieve their digital transformation goals using the SAP Activate Methodology.
