Rubrik (RBRK.US) rose over 7% after announcing a data protection agreement with Citrix (CRM.US).

On Monday, Rubrik(RBRK.US) announced an agreement with Salesforce(CRM.US) to provide data protection services.

Rubrik said the partnership would help Salesforce Data Protection, which extends Rubrik's data protection capabilities, enable Salesforce administrators, IT and security managers to proactively build reliable backup and recovery strategies.

It is the third large-scale software-as-a-service (SaaS) deal Rubrik has closed recently.

KeyBanc analyst Eric Heath said in a Monday note: "This is the third major SaaS application that Rubrik supports, along with Microsoft(MSFT.US) M365 and Atlassian(TEAM.US) Jira. The product is generally available on the Salesforce AppExchange. We are positive on Rubrik supporting Salesforce as it provides another important cross-sell opportunity."

As of Monday's close, Rubrik shares were up 7.33% to $35.86.
