RTX and Rafael Win $1.25 Billion Contract to Produce Iron Dome Missiles in the US

RTX Corp and Rafael have won a $1.25 billion contract to build surface-to-air missiles for Israel's Iron Dome air-defense system at a new plant in Arkansas. The joint venture, which invested $33 million to build the facility, will produce Tamir interceptors and the SkyHunter missile, capable of intercepting various threats, including cruise missiles and unmanned aircraft systems. The plant will support the acceleration of Iron Dome interceptors for the Israeli government and the Marine Corps' Medium-Range Intercept Capability program.
