RIVN--
Rivian is recalling over 34,000 electric delivery vans due to a seat belt issue that could fail to restrain the driver during an accident. The recall affects vans used by Amazon and other companies, but not Rivian's SUVs and pickup trucks. The issue is caused by repeated misuse of the seat belt, such as drivers frequently sitting on top of it. Rivian will inspect and replace the driver's seat belt if necessary and has released an over-the-air software update to detect seat belt misuse.
