Ripple's $95B Network Expands, but Only XRP Settlement Turns Reach Into Demand

Ripple's network is larger, and that is becoming harder to ignore
Ripple is no longer a niche payments narrative. Its network now includes over 300 financial institutions and has processed cumulative volume surpassing $95 billion. The new Middle East and Africa headquarters also signals that expansion is still progressing rather than stalling.
That growing footprint helps explain the recent attention around Ripple-linked payment flows. But network size alone does not settle the investment question. A bigger rails network matters for XRPXRP-- mainly if it keeps translating into active XRP-based settlement.
Ripple's reach is broad, but adoption is not uniform across the network. Evidence suggests only ~40% of RippleNet institutions actively use XRP for ODL, meaning a large share of partners are connected to the infrastructure without necessarily driving token demand. For XRP, that distinction matters more than gross partner counts.

The same caution applies to regional expansion. In the Middle East and Africa, most current Ripple deals across both regions settle in fiat or RLUSD rather than XRP. That makes the new Dubai hub meaningful for long-term reach, but not automatically decisive for near-term XRP demand.
If RippleRLUSD-- keeps converting network reach into active ODL usage, today's numbers may look more like a base than a ceiling. If that conversion slows, Ripple can remain a credible payments rails story while XRP demand stays less clear.
