The ringgit is expected to remain steady and trade within 4.10-4.12 against the US dollar next week due to market expectations of a 25-basis-point interest rate cut by the US Federal Reserve. The currency strengthened against the greenback on a weekly basis and traded higher against most ASEAN peers, except the Thai baht.
