Revolut Expands in Nordic Region with New Stockholm Branch, Targets Klarna and Traditional Banks

Revolut plans to open a new branch in Stockholm to expand its presence in the Nordic region and compete with Klarna. The UK-based digital bank aims to increase its Nordic customer base to three million by the end of next year, with Sweden accounting for half of its users. The new branch will operate under Revolut's European banking licence, allowing it to offer Swedish IBANs and other products. Revolut has started recruitment across the region and plans to expand to 70 markets by 2030.
