U.S. Republican heavyweight Greene has made a strategic move by buying the dip! CrowdStrike (CRWD.US) and Tesla (TSLA.US) have become his new favorites.
Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican, disclosed in a congressional filing that she bought several stocks during the recent market sell-off, including CrowdStrike (CRWD.US) and TeslaTSLA-- (TSLA.US).
The document showed Greene bought shares of CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity company, on March 7 for between $1,001 and $15,000.
She also bought shares of Dole FoodsDOLE-- (DG.US), Goldman (GS.US), Impinj (PI.US), a provider of ultra-high frequency RFID solutions, Tesla, and iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) for between $1,001 and $15,000 per transaction.
Greene bought several tech stocks last month, including Palantir (PLTR.US) and Apple (AAPL.US), according to reports.
Greene is the chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, a group of Republicans who have been accused of spreading conspiracy theories. However, she has moved into the center of the party's politics after Trump's return to the White House.
