Redwire Corporation (NYSE:RDW) has revised its 2025 revenue outlook to $470 million to $530 million, driven by the integration of Edge Autonomy and advancements in its five-principle growth strategy. The company has successfully completed the first deployment test for its edge autonomy platform and reported new product wins and contract milestones.
The revised outlook reflects the successful completion of Redwire's acquisition of Edge Autonomy on June 13, 2025, transforming the company into an integrated global space and defense tech company specializing in multi-domain solutions. The acquisition has allowed Redwire to expand its product offerings and capabilities, positioning the company to capitalize on high-growth trends in the space and defense sectors.
During the second quarter of 2025, Redwire reported revenues of $61.8 million, a 20.9% decrease from the same period in 2024. The company also reported a net loss of $(97.0) million, an increase of $78.9 million from the previous year. The net loss included expenses related to non-cash, transaction-related, EAC adjustments, and non-routine activities, primarily from the Edge Autonomy acquisition. Despite the losses, Redwire ended the second quarter with record total liquidity of $113.6 million.
Looking ahead, Redwire is focused on leveraging its advanced technologies and digital engineering capabilities to drive growth and innovation in the space and defense sectors. The company's five-principle growth strategy includes space infrastructure, autonomous systems, multi-domain operations, microgravity drug development, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Redwire's Chief Financial Officer, Jonathan Baliff, stated, "2025 is a transition year for government budgets and a transformative year for Redwire with the closing of our acquisition of Edge Autonomy while also ending the second quarter with record total liquidity of $113.6 million."
Redwire will present its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2025, during a live stream presentation on August 7, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. ET. The company will also conduct a conference call to review the results.
