Redwire Corp has been awarded a $25 million NASA contract to provide biotechnology services for the International Space Station. The contract will enable Redwire to support drug development investigations using its PIL-BOX technology. The company has received a $2.5 million task order under the contract. Redwire's focus on space biotechnology and partnerships with major pharmaceutical companies position it well in a niche but expanding market. The indefinite nature of the contract means revenue realization will depend on the number and size of task orders issued.
