Raytheon-Rafael Protection Systems, a joint venture between RTX Corp and Rafael, has received a $1.25 bln contract to supply Israel with Tamir surface-to-air missiles. The contract includes missile kits and test equipment. The companies have established a new facility in East Camden, Arkansas to accelerate serial production of Iron Dome interceptors and produce Tamir missiles for the Iron Dome Weapon System and its US variant, SkyHunter.
