Barfresh Food Group (BRFH) acquired Arps Dairy for $1.3 million, expanding its manufacturing capabilities and cutting costs. Arps Dairy has a 15,000 sq ft facility and a soon-to-be-completed 44,000 sq ft plant in Ohio. The acquisition also includes a $2.3 million government grant to aid in plant expansion.

Barfresh Food Group Inc. (BRFH) has completed the acquisition of Arps Dairy, Inc., a dairy processing company based in Ohio, for approximately $1.3 million in debt repayment. The transaction, funded through an expansion of Barfresh's existing line of credit, positions the company for accelerated growth and enhanced manufacturing capabilities Barfresh Completes Strategic Acquisition of Arps Dairy[1].

The acquisition includes Arps Dairy's operational 15,000-square-foot processing facility and a soon-to-be-completed 44,000-square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Defiance, Ohio. Barfresh has already commenced production at the existing Arps Dairy facility and plans to complete construction at the larger facility during 2026. Additionally, Arps Dairy has been preliminarily approved for a $2.3 million government grant to support the finalization of construction and equipment installation at the expanded facility Barfresh Completes Strategic Acquisition of Arps Dairy[2].

The acquisition delivers immediate operational advantages, including the elimination of third-party manufacturing fees, more efficient ingredient procurement, reduced freight and cold storage costs through integrated operations, and enhanced oversight of production processes. The acquisition is expected to more than double Barfresh's revenue to $30 million to $35 million in fiscal year 2026 and enhance profitability. Barfresh has increased its fiscal year 2025 revenue guidance to a range of $14.5 million to $15.5 million, with preliminary fiscal year 2026 revenue guidance of $30 million to $35 million, representing a 126% increase compared to the high range of fiscal year 2025 guidance Barfresh Completes Strategic Acquisition of Arps Dairy[1].
