Rapid7, Inc. (RPD) has announced the availability of its exposure management solutions, InsightCloudSec and InsightAppSec, in the new AI Agents and Tools category of AWS Marketplace. These offerings aim to empower organizations to build and scale generative AI with visibility, control, and compliance at the core. InsightCloudSec provides real-time cloud posture and risk assessment, while InsightAppSec offers automated testing and attack simulation for large language models embedded within web applications.

InsightCloudSec leverages real-time cloud posture and risk assessment to ensure the cloud infrastructure resources that underpin AI/ML (machine learning) resources are secure and compliant. InsightAppSec, on the other hand, focuses on automated testing and attack simulations for AI applications, particularly those with language models, to detect and address vulnerabilities in AI solutions accessible to the public. These tools are core components of Rapid7’s Exposure Command offering, which helps organizations detect and prioritize exposures from endpoint to cloud.

The integration of these tools into AWS Marketplace allows customers to easily discover, buy, and deploy AI agent solutions, including Rapid7’s capabilities to support securing AI agents. This move streamlines the development of agent and agentic workflows and accelerates the procurement process, reducing the time needed for vendor evaluations and complex negotiations. With centralized purchasing using AWS accounts, customers maintain visibility and control over licensing, payments, and access.

The offerings are aligned with the OWASP Top 10, ensuring broad coverage for the most common attack vectors. Security teams get a more unified, contextualized view of their AI-related risk in a single place, enabling customers to innovate and accelerate at scale. Additionally, these tools provide visibility into which users across the organization have access to the resources, with the ability to right-size permissions in accordance with least privilege access (LPA).

Rapid7’s focus on AI/ML security best practices helps teams understand what controls to implement and provides the ability to enforce compliance as developers begin building GenAI applications. The availability of AI Agents and Tools in AWS Marketplace allows customers to significantly accelerate their procurement process, driving AI innovation and reducing time needed for vendor evaluations and complex negotiations.
