Queensland Public Officers Charged with Corruption Over Secret Medical Device Payments

Five public officers in Queensland will face criminal charges for alleged corruption involving secret payments for medical devices in public hospitals. The charges include fraud, official corruption, and misconduct for failing to declare conflicts of interest to Queensland Health. The Crime and Corruption Commission investigated in cooperation with the Queensland Office of the Health Ombudsman.
