Quebecor & Quebecor Media name Marc M. Tremblay to board

Quebecor and Quebecor Media have appointed Marc M. Tremblay to the board of directors of La Caisse, a position effective October 9, 2023. Tremblay brings extensive experience in telecommunications, media, and corporate governance, having served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Legal Officer of Quebecor from 2007 until his retirement in 2022. During his 15-year tenure at Quebecor, he oversaw operations, legal affairs, human resources, and corporate strategy while supporting business development initiatives. Prior to joining Quebecor, Tremblay spent over three decades in law, including 25 years as a partner at Ogilvy Renault (now Norton Rose Fulbright Canada), specializing in labor and employment law.

In addition to his corporate roles, Tremblay has been actively involved in nonprofit governance, serving as Chairman of the CHUM Foundation and Ambassador for Éducaloi, a public legal education organization. His current board roles include S.I.R.C.O. (2969-9899 Québec inc.), and he previously served on the SAQ board. At La Caisse, Tremblay will sit on the Human Resources and Audit committees, aligning with his expertise in organizational leadership and financial oversight.

Tremblay’s appointment reflects his deep understanding of complex corporate structures and regulatory environments, honed through leadership positions at Quebecor and other organizations.
