QuantumPH-P of JingTai Technology (02228) rose nearly 5% in the afternoon, and as of the time of writing, it rose 2.19%, at HK$6.53, with a turnover of HK$10.4 million.

On the news front, on August 16, Hang Seng Index Company announced the latest quarterly review results. JingTai Technology's QuantumPH-P was included in the Hang Seng Composite Index, and the adjustment will take effect on September 9, according to the announcement, and CICC expects the company to be included in the Hang Seng Tech Index. It is worth noting that JingTai Technology is the first technology company to list through the new rules for special technology (18C) since its launch on March 31, 2023.

According to public information, JingTai Technology was founded in 2015 by three Ph.D. physicists from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. JingTai Technology provides drug and material science research and development solutions and services for global enterprise groups and innovative companies in the pharmaceutical and materials science (including agricultural technology, energy and new chemical materials and cosmetics) industries, based on the first principles of quantum physics, advanced artificial intelligence, high-performance cloud computing, and scalable and standardized robotic automation.
