PureCycle Technologies has signed a €40 million grant agreement with the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency to fund its 'ASTRA PP' project in the Port of Antwerp-Bruges. The project aims to create a polypropylene recycling facility with a production capacity of 59,000 tonnes per year. The project aligns with the European Green Deal and Circular Economy Action Plan objectives and will provide circular alternatives to conventional fossil-raw-materials for PP production.
