PSK has successfully invalidated parts of Lam Research's patent in Korea related to gap controllable bevel etchers. The Intellectual Property Trial and Appeal Board ruled that six articles of the patent are invalid. Lam Research can appeal the decision, but the ruling may impact their sales in Korea. This is one of several patent disputes between PSK and Lam Research, with PSK also suing Charm Engineering over two patents.
