PSE&G has announced a Summer Relief Initiative to protect residential customers from higher electric costs this summer. The initiative includes a temporary credit of $30 per month for July and August 2025, waiving reconnection fees, and a Summer Moratorium to prevent utility shut-offs. The relief measures are part of PSE&G's proactive approach to address the power supply-demand imbalance in the state. The utility company will recover the cost of the electricity provided and payments made to electric suppliers through customer bills from September 2025 through February 2026.
