Among the new additions, the Smoky collection features Pringles Smoky Mesquite BBQ, a barbeque sweetness with tangy notes, Pringles Smoky Cheddar, a mild sweet applewood smokiness with a bold and creamy cheddar cheese flavor, and Pringles Smoky Bacon, which combines hickory smoke and pork flavors to deliver a savory wood-fired smoky bacon taste. Additionally, Pringles is launching Pringles Sharp White Cheddar, which fuses rich and slightly nutty flavors with a touch of acidity, and Pringles Mingles Cinnamon & Sugar, a sweet flavor with warm notes of cinnamon and sugary sweetness. The latter will be available with special limited-edition packaging for the season of sharing.
To celebrate the launch of these new flavors, Pringles has partnered with renowned chef Calvin Eng of Bonnie's, a Cantonese American restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Chef Eng has created a unique dish, Pringles Smoky Mesquite BBQ Bok Gop, featuring the new Pringles Smoky Mesquite BBQ flavor. The dish will be available for a limited time at Bonnie's starting Tuesday, September 2, offering New York City residents an exclusive opportunity to taste the new flavor before it becomes widely available.
This strategic move by Pringles underscores the company's commitment to innovation and consumer satisfaction. By expanding its flavor offerings, Pringles aims to capture a larger share of the snack market, which is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4.5% from 2023 to 2028 [1]. Kellanova, Pringles' parent company, has a strong track record of successful brand expansions, with its net sales for 2024 reaching approximately $13 billion [1].
