Princess Cruises has announced its most expansive Alaska cruise and cruisetour season for 2027, marking a significant milestone in the company's nearly 60 years of sailing the region. The 2027 season will feature eight elegant ships and stays at five signature wilderness lodges, offering more sailings, glacier-viewing experiences, and ways to explore the Great Land than ever before [1].

The season will open for sale on August 12, 2025, and will be highlighted by the return of Star Princess, a next-generation Sphere Class ship that will sail for its second season in Alaska. Star Princess will headline the season with 7-day Inside Passage cruises roundtrip from Seattle, joining a robust lineup of 187 departures across 17 unique itineraries from five homeports: Seattle, Vancouver (B.C.), Anchorage (Whittier), San Francisco, and Los Angeles [1].

Princess Cruises' commitment to immersive travel in Alaska is evident in the 2027 season. The cruise line will offer more sailings, more glacier-viewing experiences, and more ways to explore the Great Land than ever before. The season will feature four glacier-viewing experiences, including Glacier Bay National Park, Hubbard Glacier, College Fjord, and Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier [1].

Princess Cruises will also offer 28 cruisetour itineraries featuring custom-built wilderness lodges near Denali, Kenai Fjords & Wrangell-St. Elias National Parks. The 17-night Denali Escorted Cruisetour will offer guests a deep, immersive experience, visiting up to four national parks on a single cruisetour [1].

The 2027 Alaska season will offer a variety of itineraries, including 7-day sailings between Vancouver, B.C. and Anchorage (Whittier), with two glacier-viewing days and visits to Glacier Bay National Park. Additionally, Princess Cruises will offer more Ashore late-night stays in Juneau on all northbound cruises [1].

Princess Cruises' 2027 Alaska season is expected to attract more guests than any other cruise line in the region, thanks to its commitment to offering more sailings, more glacier-viewing experiences, and more ways to explore the Great Land than ever before [1].
