Madhusudan Kela's fund, Singularity Large Value Fund I, was also a notable buyer, acquiring 62.5 lakh shares in the deal [1].
Augusta Investments I Pte. Ltd. and Marina IV (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. were the sellers, disposing of 54.4 lakh and 38.9 lakh shares, respectively. Other buyers included Samyak Enterprises and FE Securities, which purchased over 7 lakh shares each. Notably, none of these buyers had any prior stake in Prime Focus, as per the June shareholding pattern [1].
The transaction comes amidst a period of strong performance for Prime Focus. The company's shares have gained 13% so far in 2025, and the stock ended in a 10% upper circuit on Friday at ₹158.37. The company's net sales for June 2023 were reported at Rs 1,210.29 crore, up by 17.72% year-over-year. The technical rating for Prime Focus is currently "VERY BULLISH," indicating a positive outlook [2].
