Priced: IFC EM $509.53M new issuance CLO via Goldman Sachs
Goldman Sachs has emerged as the largest institutional holder of the Ethereum ETF, with $7.21 billion in reported positions, according to the latest 13F filings [1]. This significant allocation underscores the growing interest in Ethereum as an institutional-grade asset. The investment bank's Ethereum ETF holdings outpaced those of Jane Street and Millennium, with the latter two holding $1.9 billion and $1.86 billion, respectively. The increased focus on Ethereum reflects the asset's utility beyond its store-of-value narrative. The utility of Ethereum, particularly in stablecoins and tokenized assets, has led to a surge in inflows. According to CoinMarketCap, spot Ethereum ETFs captured $1.83 billion in inflows over five days, dwarfing Bitcoin funds' $171 million [3]. This trend has been accelerated by the passage of the GENIUS Act in July, which provided regulatory clarity for stablecoins.
In addition to its Ethereum ETF holdings, Goldman Sachs has also been active in the issuance of Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs). On July 2, 2025, the investment bank priced a new issuance of IFC EM CLO with a total value of $509.53 million [2]. This issuance is part of Goldman Sachs' broader strategy to diversify its investment portfolio and capitalize on growing demand for structured finance products.
The investment community will closely monitor Goldman Sachs' performance in its upcoming earnings report, scheduled for October 14, 2025. The company is projected to report earnings of $10.27 per share, representing year-over-year growth of 22.26% [2]. Additionally, the company's revenue is expected to reach $13.66 billion for the quarter, up 7.56% from the prior-year quarter. For the annual period, the Zacks Consensus Estimates anticipate earnings of $45.63 per share and a revenue of $56.87 billion, signifying shifts of +12.56% and +6.28%, respectively, from the last year.
