A finance expert at Bloomberg designed a business technology class with AI integrated to prepare students for an AI-powered work environment. The class used Microsoft 365 Copilot for Business and emphasized critical thinking, reflection, and error checking. The pilot found that AI productivity products have a learning curve, but with proper teaching, students can effectively use them.

Mercedes-Benz has expanded its collaboration with Microsoft to enhance in-car productivity with the integration of Microsoft Teams, Intune, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. This partnership aims to bring advanced business and collaboration tools directly into Mercedes-Benz vehicles, starting with the all-new CLA. The new features, including enhanced Meetings for Teams app, Microsoft Intune integration, and Microsoft 365 Copilot, are designed to make in-car work more efficient and secure.

The enhanced Meetings for Teams app allows drivers to use the in-car camera while driving, enabling other participants to see them during a meeting. This feature is designed to comply with local laws and automatically turns off the camera to prevent driver distraction. The app also features a new dashboard with a "Next Meetings" function for upcoming appointments and an expanded chat function for easier communication. Voice control for text input and direct access from the calendar to Teams meetings provide a seamless user experience.

Microsoft Intune has been integrated into Mercedes-Benz's new operating system, MB.OS, to create a secure, enterprise-compliant ecosystem. This integration allows customers to log in with their business accounts and switch between applications effortlessly, taking productivity while on the move to a new level. Intune ensures the separation of private and business data and allows IT administrators to centrally manage access rights and security policies, meeting enterprise-grade security standards.

Microsoft 365 Copilot is also being integrated into Mercedes-Benz vehicles, potentially making the vehicle a third workspace. Using voice prompts, drivers can summarize emails, retrieve client preferences, and manage daily tasks without distraction. This AI-powered tool has the potential to transform the vehicle into a more productive workspace, complementing the office and home office environments.

Ola Källenius, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, stated, "Through our industry-leading collaboration with Microsoft, we are making it even easier for our customers to stay productive while on the move. By integrating the latest Microsoft workspace tools directly into our new operating system, MB.OS, we've created an intuitive and safe user experience that boosts efficiency and reduces distractions at the same time."
