Precious metals shares led the sector on Friday, up by 1.4%, with Paramount Gold Nevada and Western Copper & Gold rising by 5.5% and 4.7% respectively. Metals fabrication & products shares also showed strength, up by 0.5%, with Avax One Technology and Nexa Resources increasing by 12% and 6.4% respectively.
