Power Nickel Inc has announced assay results from the first two holes of its fall drilling campaign at the Lion Zone in Quebec. One hole showed promising results, including 29.40 meters with 0.53 g/t gold and 1.15% copper. The second hole did not return significant results, possibly due to the angle of attack. The CEO described the Lion Zone as "exceptional" and expressed excitement about upcoming assay results.

Power Nickel's Lion Zone Discovery Yields Promising Results from Fall Drilling
Power Nickel Inc. (PNPN), a leading mining company specializing in polymetallic discoveries, recently announced the initial assay results from the first two holes of its fall drilling campaign at the Lion Zone in Quebec. The results, which were obtained from the eastern portion of the Lion Zone, show promising signs of mineralization.
One hole, identified as PN-24-068, displayed significant mineralization, with 29.40 meters of 0.53 g/t gold and 1.15% copper. This discovery has excited the company's CEO, Terry Lynch, who described the Lion Zone as "exceptional." Lynch expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming assay results, stating that they could potentially reveal even more promising mineralization.
The second hole, PN-24-069, did not yield significant results, possibly due to its angle of attack. However, this setback has not deterred the company, as they have already retargeted the drills at a lower pitch further west and are currently waiting for the assay results.
This fall drilling campaign follows the successful summer 2024 drilling program, during which Power Nickel expanded the Lion Zone by 50%. The summer program yielded impressive results, with holes 63, 66, and 67 delivering 5-12 meters of mineralization with copper equivalent (CuEq) ranging from 2.36% to 5.93%. These results demonstrate the tremendous success rate of Power Nickel's exploration efforts and contribute to a growing level of confidence about the continuity of the mineralized zone.
Figure 1 provides a longitudinal view of the Lion Zone Discovery, with the assay results from PN-24-063 to PN-24-067 presented in red. The current size of the zone is derived from observation of semi-massive to massive sulphides. An interpreted deformation corridor appears to control the presence and thickness of mineralized sulphides.
Table 1 below presents the significant results of previously released holes, and the current assays further demonstrate the tremendous success rate of Power Nickel's exploration efforts.
