Polkadot to Revolutionize Blockchain Systems with Elastic Scaling and JAM Upgrade

Polkadot is a cryptocurrency that connects different blockchains, allowing data and money to flow freely between systems. It's poised to go mainstream as the official blockchain solution of the Web3 Foundation. Polkadot's elastic scaling feature demonstrated 143,000 transactions per second on a fraction of the Kusama testing network, double Visa's peak capacity. The upcoming JAM upgrade transforms Polkadot into a programmable supercomputer that can run complex applications directly on the blockchain.

AERE Network, a pioneering blockchain platform, has announced the launch of its Layer 1 blockchain, designed to address scalability, security, and energy efficiency challenges in decentralized applications. The network boasts an impressive 273,000 transactions per second (TPS), sub-0.5-second finality, and military-grade cryptographic protections, while significantly reducing energy consumption by 99.9% compared to traditional proof-of-work models [1].

The AERE Network platform is compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) tools, enabling seamless smart contract deployment with performance improvements of up to 100 times and lower fees. Its advanced architecture includes multi-dimensional sharding, Effective Proof of Stake (ePoS) consensus, atomic cross-shard transactions, and zero-knowledge proofs for enhanced privacy. These features position AERE Network as a robust solution for enterprise capabilities, including customizable private networks and KYC/AML-compliant identity systems.

The AERE token serves as the native asset, with a maximum supply of 2.8 billion tokens, comprising 280 million preminted. The token includes deflationary features such as a 37.5% fee burn on transactions, halvings every 4,200,000 blocks, and staking rewards to promote participation and stability. The official AERE token launch is scheduled for August 28 on major exchanges.

A key component of the AERE Network is the Global Resilience Network (GRN), set to launch in 2026. The GRN aims to tackle environmental and social issues worldwide, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The network projects outcomes such as restoring ecosystems, sequestering CO2, removing ocean plastic, preserving species, and safeguarding traditional practices, while aiming to protect 6 billion people and secure food and water for billions more [1].

Technically, GRN will process millions of TPS, integrate with 75 blockchains, span 150 countries, and reach 3 billion low-literacy users. The platform's roadmap includes mainnet deployment in Q3 2025, DeFi expansions in 2026, and phases like climate resilience networks and universal basic income systems.

Governance on the AERE Network includes a 100,000 AERE token proposal threshold, 7-day voting, 48-hour delays, 10% quorum, and 66% approval.
