WARSAW — Poland's registered unemployment rate fell to 5.0% in May, according to data released by the country's statistics office. This figure matches the expectations set by Reuters and is a decrease from the 5.2% rate recorded in April [1].The statistics office also reported that the number of registered unemployed individuals stood at 782,800 last month. This data suggests a positive trend in the Polish labor market, indicating that the economy may be experiencing a recovery in employment opportunities.
Additionally, the average wages in Poland's corporate sector saw an increase of 8.4% in May compared to the same month in 2024.
