The grants will fund five key initiatives across various National Forest locations. In Arizona, the Navigate Responsibly Project will improve motorized visitor navigation and protect natural resources through the installation of new signage. In California, the Snowmobile Park Improvements project will enhance access and safety in snowmobile areas by updating trail markers and printing winter recreation maps. In New Hampshire, the Snowmobile Bridge Improvements project will repair two snowmobile trail bridges to ensure safe and reliable winter trail access. In Colorado, the Alpine Loop Trail Kiosks project will replace and update kiosk structures to improve trailhead visibility. Finally, in Kentucky, Phase 1 of the Land Between the Lakes NRA - Turkey Bay OHV Area project will initiate safety enhancements, including a new paved entrance turn lane and striped traffic lanes, to improve the overall off-highway vehicle (OHV) user experience.
