Plutus Launches PLUS More on Base, Revolutionizing Loyalty Rewards

Plutus, a pioneer in on-chain integrated finance, has launched PLUS More on Base, marking a significant advancement in tokenised loyalty rewards. This new system, built on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 incubated by Coinbase, represents a shift from traditional, fragmented loyalty programs to an open, permissionless decentralised finance ecosystem. PLUS More aims to redefine how loyalty value is earned, owned, and used, all on-chain.

One of the key features of PLUS More is its ability to tokenise rewards in-app, allowing Plutus Card customers in the UK and EU to request payouts on the Base network. This process is currently pending the approval of relevant licensing, which is in progress. Once licensing under MiCA and the UK FCA is secured, PLUS token holders will gain access to a growing marketplace of partner perks, travel discounts, and digital gift cards, all powered by smart contracts on Base. This ecosystem will be supported by FUEL, a new on-chain network fee designed to keep the system sustainable by recycling rewards back to customers instead of minting new tokens.
