The planning and layout of 26 additional national logistics hubs are being optimized and adjusted.

Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission released the "National Logistics Hub Layout Optimization and Adjustment Plan", which shows that 26 new national logistics hubs have been added, including Langfang Commercial Service, Changzhou Production Service, Taizhou Port, and Sansheng Airport.

According to the information, these newly added logistics hubs are all located at important transportation nodes of "Four Horizontal and Five Vertical, Two Along and Ten Corridor" logistics channels and "Ten Vertical and Ten Horizontal" comprehensive transportation channels, among which nearly 60% are located in central and western regions, which will significantly enhance the supporting and guarantee capacity for the implementation of national major strategies.

After the optimization and adjustment of the national logistics hub layout, the number of cities carrying national logistics hubs has reached 152, and the number of national logistics hubs has reached 229. Among them, the National Development and Reform Commission has led the inclusion of 151 national logistics hubs in the first six batches into the key construction list.

Related persons said that the national logistics hub, as an important logistics resource allocation center and logistics activity organization center, plays a crucial role in reducing the overall logistics cost, integrating various logistics resources, and promoting regional economic development. This time's added logistics hubs not only optimized the layout of the national logistics hub but also showed great potential in promoting regional economic development and supporting related cities in exploring the "industrial cluster + logistics hub" coordinated development model. Among them, the proportion of production service and commercial service hubs related to regional industrial development and consumption has exceeded 40%, which will effectively support the exploration and development of related cities in new industries and consumer upgrading.

Moreover, the adjustment of the national logistics hub layout will further improve the balanced development level of the national logistics hub network and perfect the modern logistics operation system of "channel + hub + network"; better connect the national logistics channel, comprehensive transportation channel, and important railway logistics base, inland port, etc. important logistics nodes, improve the overall logistics operation efficiency and service quality; and achieve basic coverage or effective radiation to cities with GDP above RMB400 billion, further strengthen the supporting and guarantee role for regional economic and industrial transformation and upgrading.

The next step, the National Development and Reform Commission will guide localities to promote the construction of national logistics hubs of high quality and coordinate relevant departments to increase support in natural element guarantee, investment and financing, etc., to enhance the comprehensive service capacity and operation efficiency of the hub, providing more powerful support for effectively reducing the overall logistics cost and building a new development pattern.
