Picard Medical, the parent company of SynCardia Systems, has entered into a development collaboration agreement with Hydrix Services to develop a next-generation, fully implantable Total Artificial Heart (TAH) technology called Emperor. The device aims to eliminate the need for an external driver, offering greater convenience and mobility for patients. SynCardia selected Hydrix based on its expertise in complex engineering and medical device development.
