Pi Network's Mainnet Launch: Airdrops and Rewards Await
The highly anticipated Pi Network mainnet launch is set for February 20, with major exchanges like OKX and Bitget poised to list its native token. As the launch approaches, several exchanges have announced potential airdrops and rewards for their users.
Pi Network, with over 3.8 million followers on X (formerly Twitter), has garnered significant attention in the crypto industry. After several delays and scam allegations, the project is finally set to launch on February 20. A number of major centralized exchanges, including OKX, Bitget, Bitrue, HTX, and BitMart, will list the token on the launch date.
In preparation for the mainnet launch, the project has announced that the transition to Open Network will enable external connectivity on the Mainnet blockchain, allowing Pi to interface with other compliant networks and systems.
Bitget has announced a $60,000 PI airdrop pool for eligible users, running until March 3. The airdrop opportunity will reward users based on their engagement and exchange activities. Meanwhile, BitMart has announced a $3,000 USDT worth of PI coin giveaway, with 300 users set to receive a share of the reward pool.
While these are the only two verified airdrop opportunities for PI Network at the time of writing, investors are advised to be cautious of scammers exploiting the PI hype on social media. Other tier-1 exchanges like Coinbase, Binance, or Kraken are yet to list the highly anticipated token, although Binance is currently holding a community vote to decide on PI Network listing.
The Pi Network's IoU (I owe You) token price has slumped over 50% due to the mainnet launch nearing and exchanges like HTX delisting the IoU token. As the launch approaches, investors are eagerly awaiting the listing of the native token on major exchanges.
