PepsiCo's Discontinuation Strategy: A Different Approach

PepsiCo has discontinued two popular soda flavors, Nitro Pepsi and Pepsi Cherry Vanilla. The company takes a different approach to eliminating flavors, allowing customers to track the status of discontinued products on its website. Coca-Cola, on the other hand, has taken a more drastic approach, discontinuing dozens of flavors at once. Both companies need to maintain a certain scale to keep manufacturing products, and when sales drop below that threshold, the product gets cut.
