PayPal and Wix.com deepen partnership for unified merchant payments

PayPal and Wix.com have expanded their partnership to offer a unified payments experience to merchants. PayPal payment methods, including PayPal Wallet and PayPal Pay Later, will be integrated directly into the Wix Payments experience. This will provide merchants with a seamless and convenient payment solution.

PayPal and Wix.com have announced a significant expansion of their strategic partnership, aimed at delivering a unified payments experience to merchants. This collaboration will integrate PayPal's payment methods, including PayPal Wallet and PayPal Pay Later, directly into the Wix Payments platform [1].

The new integration allows U.S.-based merchants to connect their PayPal Business accounts and manage all transactions from a single dashboard. This unified approach consolidates reporting, chargebacks, and payouts, simplifying day-to-day operations and enhancing overall efficiency [1]. Merchants will also gain access to PayPal's broader suite of features, offering customers more flexible and convenient ways to pay.

Funds from PayPal wallet purchases will flow directly into merchants’ Wix Payments accounts, simplifying reconciliation and improving visibility over cash flow. Additionally, PayPal will serve as a Payment Service Provider (PSP), powering card processing capabilities within Wix Payments, further streamlining the merchant experience across channels [1].
