PayPal (PYPL.US), a digital payments service provider, has expanded its partnership with payment platform Adyen to bring its Fastlane checkout service to Adyen's US enterprise and market customers.

Fastlane allows customers to store their credit cards and shipping information so they can check out faster at any participating merchant. The two companies plan to expand the service globally in the future.

PayPal CEO and Chief Executive Officer Alex Chriss joined the company a year ago and has been improving the company's products through technical innovation and combining customer data as the core of its accelerated growth plan.

Chriss said in a statement: "Adyen's customer base and relationships with businesses make it an ideal single payment processing partner for Fastlane. This strategic partnership aligns with our goal to make PayPal (PYPL) available at all shopping locations globally."

They said, in addition to expanding the coverage of Fastlane by PayPal, Adyen and PayPal will continue to explore solutions to enhance the consumer experience and create value for businesses.
