Ovid Therapeutics Appoints Dr. Petra Kaufmann as Chief Medical Officer to Advance Brain Disorder Treatments

Ovid Therapeutics has appointed Dr. Petra Kaufmann as Chief Medical Officer. Kaufmann brings extensive experience in CNS therapeutics development, including first-in-human studies and global regulatory approval. She will lead clinical, medical, and regulatory strategy for Ovid's pipeline of potential best- and first-in-class therapeutic candidates. Kaufmann joins from Vigil Neuroscience and has held senior roles at Novartis Gene Therapies and AveXis.
