New Orleans Prepares for Super Bowl 59: A Weekend of Economic Impact and Community Investment

The program plans to distribute a minimum of $3 million in grants to local nonprofit organizations in the greater New Orleans region, focusing on key areas such as economic development, education, workforce training, youth development, health and wellness, and equity and inclusion.

The grants, ranging from $25,000 to $250,000, will be awarded to individual nonprofit organizations or collaborative projects in 10 parishes in the Greater New Orleans area. The eligible parishes include Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, Plaquemines, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Washington.



The grant application process is open to eligible nonprofit organizations and collaborative projects, with a deadline of August 23, 2024. The grant selection committee, composed of representatives from the NFL and local partners, will review and select award recipients based on the need, merit, and potential impact of each project.
