Orange Web3 Launches $100,000 Hackathon for AI-Native Creators

Orange Web3 has launched Orange Vibe Jam, a hackathon with over $100,000 in prizes, aimed at AI-native creators, no-code builders, and innovators. The event, running from April 8–30, 2025, is in partnership with VibeCodingList.com and is described as the largest vibe coding hackathon to date. This global festival of AI-assisted creativity is backed by Orange Web3’s full-stack ecosystem, including Orange ID, ORNG tokens, and the immersive Orange Worlds portal system. The competition is open to a wide range of developers, from those using AI to turn pure vibes into working apps or games to traditional developers.

Orange Web3’s CMO and event manager emphasized that the hackathon is not just about clean code but about creativity, originality, and experimentation across all forms of web-based AI development. Participants must integrate Orange ID into their projects and keep them live for 60 days post-competition to qualify for token rewards on top of the prize pool. The prize pool includes $25,000 and 1,000,000 ORNG for the first place, $12,000 and ORNG tokens for the second place, and $6,500 and ORNG tokens for the third place. Additionally, the first 50 qualifying entries will each receive 10,000 ORNG as an early entry bonus. Top entries will be featured in the Orange Web3 Lobby, a digital showcase inside Orange Worlds, where the community, sponsors, and judges can explore submissions in an immersive format. Finalists will be chosen through a hybrid system of expert judging and community voting, with full transparency via Orange ID-powered vote tracking. Winners will be announced on April 30.

The focus is on exploring new formats, workflows, and ecosystems, rather than on polish.
