Optical Cable Corporation rose 5.68% intraday, with Charter Communications' Spectrum launching gigabit broadband services to over 1,130 homes and small businesses in Greene County, North Carolina. This initiative is part of Spectrum's $7 billion rural construction project, which aims to add over 100,000 miles of fiber-optic network infrastructure and deliver symmetrical and multi-gigabit speed internet access to more than 1.7 million new locations across the country.
