At its inception, the AI Hub will equip internal teams with a foundational set of AI agents and tools powered by large language models (LLMs). These tools are expected to facilitate the delivery of high-impact use cases, significantly enhancing the insurance technology landscape. The AI Hub will initially focus on use cases currently in development across OneShield's core product lines: OneShield Enterprise (OSE) and OneShield Market Solutions (OMS).
Doug Moore, Chief Innovation Officer at OneShield, described the AI Hub as a breakthrough in how AI solutions are designed and implemented with industry-standard interoperability. "By grounding our use cases in Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) standards, we are not just automating processes, but laying the foundation for a truly intelligent, collaborative ecosystem across carriers, MGAs, and third-party tools," Moore said.
