OKX Backs Cygnus Finance to Boost Web3 Staking and AI

OKX Ventures, the investment arm of global technology company OKX, has announced its participation in Cygnus Finance's pre-seed funding round. The investment aims to support the development of improved restaking infrastructure systems and enhance the growth of the Web3 economy.

Cygnus Finance operates as a modular framework that issues real-yield products, allowing individual blockchains to establish unique restaking systems while maintaining complete security measures. Through Cygnus LVS, users can lock their consensual assets combined with on-chain and off-chain ones to verify liquidity. This development maintains secure economic connections with partners such as MakerDAO, Base, Linea, and SynFutures.

In addition to its blockchain innovations, Cygnus is also expanding its AI capabilities after acquiring British AI technology company OASIS AI Limited. This acquisition aims to make the technology more accessible and support new innovations in the Web3 space.

One of Cygnus' most active projects is the development of the Web3 Instagram App Layer. This initiative connects on-chain and off-chain assets to sustain creators while expanding Web3 adoption. Cygnus intends to boost user engagement through Instagram advertising campaigns, influencer partnerships, and engaging games, branded challenges, and streaming content. The platform will also serve as a hub for blockchain education, providing simple educational materials for blockchain beginners.

OKX Ventures' investment in Cygnus aligns with its mission to support blockchain technology and facilitate innovation, which boosts its worldwide reach among users. Recently, OKX Ventures established its investment interests in DuckChain, an EVM blockchain system that operates on Telegram. DuckChain aims to link Web2 with Web3 by entering the Telegram user base exceeding 1 billion, prioritizing artificial intelligence solutions and compatibility between blockchain networks while building easy-to-use blockchain interfaces.
