OKLO--

Oklo Inc. plans to build a $1.68 billion facility in Tennessee to convert nuclear waste into fuel for advanced reactors. The recycling center will address the growing stockpile of nuclear waste and establish a secure US supply chain for a new type of uranium fuel required for emerging reactor technologies. The project, set to begin production by the early 2030s, is the first privately funded center in the US and requires approval from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
