At the 2025 CES, the keynote speech of Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang garnered significant attention, with the progress of PC graphics cards and Blackwell chips being the most noteworthy.
On January 6 local time, Huang officially unveiled the new RTX Blackwell series GPU in his keynote address, with the core product being the RTX5090 graphics card.
On the hard-core parameters, this card boasts 92 billion transistors, 4000 AI TOPS (AI inference performance), 380 ray tracing TFLOPS, and 1.8TB/s bandwidth. Huang candidly stated: "This series of products represents the most significant computer graphics innovation since we launched programmable shading 25 years ago."
Regarding pricing, the RTX5090 is priced at a staggering US$2000, while the RTX8050, 5070Ti, and 5070 are priced at US$999, US$749, and US$549 respectively.
With the growth of artificial intelligence, Nvidia has been experiencing a surge, but it also faces supply chain challenges, particularly after accelerating the update speed, leading to concerns about the delivery of the Blackwell series.
Huang stated that Nvidia had made production preparations in advance this time. In terms of capacity, he said that Blackwell has been fully produced, and the newly released GPU will be available for sale in late January.
