NVIDIA is introducing the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPU to popular enterprise servers, accelerating computing platforms and transforming data centers. The 2U mainstream servers will be offered by partners like Cisco, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, and Supermicro, providing breakthrough performance and efficiency for AI, content creation, data analytics, and more.
NVIDIA has announced the introduction of the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPU to popular enterprise servers, marking a significant shift towards accelerated computing platforms. This new 2U mainstream server, designed to enhance performance and efficiency, will be offered by major system partners including Cisco, Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, and Supermicro. The servers are expected to bring universal acceleration to enterprise workloads spanning AI, content creation, data analytics, and more.
The RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPU is set to transform data centers by delivering up to 45x better performance and 18x higher energy efficiency compared to traditional CPU-only systems. This breakthrough is enabled by advanced features such as fifth-generation Tensor Cores and second-generation Transformer Engine, which provide up to 6x faster inference performance compared to the previous-generation NVIDIA L40S GPU. The servers also incorporate fourth-generation NVIDIA RTX technology for photorealistic rendering and visualization, delivering up to 4x higher performance.
These new servers are part of a broader strategy to make NVIDIA Blackwell RTX PRO Servers the standard platform for enterprise and industrial AI. They are designed to support a wide range of applications, including AI and machine learning, data analytics, 3D graphics, and scientific simulation. The servers also provide the infrastructure backbone for the NVIDIA AI Data Platform, a customizable reference design for building modern storage systems for enterprise AI.
The RTX PRO Servers are expected to be available later this year, with global system partners already offering configurations with eight RTX PRO 6000 GPUs in 4U form factors. The servers are certified for NVIDIA AI Enterprise, the software layer that accelerates and secures AI development and deployment.
NVIDIA's move to accelerate enterprise computing aligns with the broader trend of AI transforming the architecture of on-premises data centers. By integrating advanced GPU technology into mainstream servers, NVIDIA aims to drive innovation and efficiency in various industries.
